My three favorite cities in the whole wide world. I presently reside on the east coast where I eat a Bagel and drink coffee every morning, while walking my Miniature poodle. As oppose to when I lived in Los Angeles, I drank a smoothie and ran to the gym every morning. Don’t get me wrong, I still go to the gym just not in that order. I love the contrast!
After graduating from Temple University in Philadelphia. I moved to NYC and immerse myself in the Theater world as an Actress and writer. It’s something about Theater in NYC that makes life magical. I decided to take graduate classes in Creative writing at NYU which helped me in my writer tremendously.
After living in NYC for several years I moved to Los Angeles. Where I fell in love with the beach and became a vegan. I lived in Los Angeles for ten years where I honed my craft as a writer by the way I’m still vegan.
I wrote a play entitled “Pieces” which was chosen by the N.A.A.C.P Hollywood chapter and performed at their award show in L.A. It was another exciting moment in my life. In addition, I wrote and produced several short films and a TV pilot that was pick up by the BET network. Unfortunately it had a short life but it was a great experience. To say the least Los Angeles took my skills to another level as a writer, director and producer.
I am presently working on my first Broadway play. It’s feels amazing to be back in NYC because the Theater is my roots/ home. I’m still deciding on a working title however in the meantime I will be writing and eating my bagel.
